Going to a sporting event and eating something there is usually not synonymous with haute cuisine. Whether in the stands of a football field or a circuit or a basketball court, the offering for the majority of fans is usually limited.

Basically, it is concentrated in the bars that are spread throughout the area, and their proposals tend to be little varied and often unhealthy. They range from sandwiches to burgers to sugary drinks. Therefore, if you have not had lunch or dinner and you must eat something there, you must bear in mind that the meal would not be memorable.

That’s what some fans must have thought who recently went to the new Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid’s stadium, and who bought a bacon and cheese burger for 10 euros. Once seated, they opened it and the surprise was enormous.

The account @FootyScran on the social network X has shared the photograph, which has not left anyone indifferent. You can see the burger in question, with the bun and the meat, but it’s hard to figure out where the bacon is and where the cheese is, or if it’s scrambled eggs.

The criticism and mockery on the networks have not been long in coming. “All the money has been spent in Bellingham,” says one of the accounts that reacted to the publication. For another, they have reserved them for Mbappé, who sounds for Real Madrid.

Others focus on the semi-transparent bacon and scrambled eggs or that the cook did not remove the cheese paper when heating the burger.
