Our furry friends give us great moments, whether when they play with each other, when they let their human companions know that they want to go outside or that they are hungry, or when they simply seek attention. A long list could be made of these moments, because the truth is they are endearing.

But as soon as the water factor comes into play, the list expands even further. Unlike cats, it is common to see dogs playing in a pool, for example, but do they always get in? The Mr. Tub TikTok account

Tub and Blue, from blueberry, are two golden retrievers whose human companion created a personal account for them on the Chinese platform where their adventures are shown. In one of the latest videos published, the two dogs were playing with a tennis ball and it fell into the pool.

Neither Tub nor Blue went into the water. For a long time they both stayed motionless watching how their tennis ball was sunk in the pool, in a shallow area, after having checked the temperature of the water by submerging their nose a little.

One of the golden retrievers dared to go down to the first step of the pool. His four legs noticed that the water was a little cold. He was reluctant to go further in and his companion became encouraged, quickly entered the water and came out again. The ball was still sunk.

The first of the protagonists of this story tried to reach the ball with one of his paws and take it as close to the shore, but he stayed on the edge of the step, and getting the ball required either the help of a human or, a quick maneuver in the water. However, the video ended without knowing the answer.

Tub and Blue’s video has generated comments highlighting how adorable these golden retrievers are. Some Internet users confessed that the bubbles that came out of their nose when they tried to enter the water were “the best.”
