Many denounce the precarious working conditions found in the hospitality sector: endless hours and low salaries. It is the most repeated complaint by waiters who work in one of these establishments, although the panorama does not change much if we talk about contracts for events, according to the X user (formerly Twitter), Soy Camarero.

Jesús Soriano, who manages this account, dedicated to disseminating the unworthy situations of colleagues, has published another controversial job offer. In it, it is explained that they are looking for two assistants for The Champions Burger, a traveling gastronomic event that seeks the best burger in Spain.

According to the proposal, collected in a WhatsApp conversation, this person could work in two shifts, both 12 hours for ten days. He does not mention any rest during that time. You would be paid 7 euros per hour.

The reactions on networks to this controversial job offer have not been long in coming. “What needs to be published is what establishment it is,” one responds. “Well, I was going to go this afternoon with some friends… Step, I give up contributing to the labor exploitation of my colleagues,” criticizes another.

Some are not surprised that hoteliers have difficulty finding waiters: “Then they complain that they can’t find workers.” And some denounce that precarious conditions are offered at such a well-known event. “7 euros per hour at a large event. I laugh to not cry. “It is shameful,” they add.
