The streamer Ibai Llanos will be the protagonist of the next menu of the Great Mediterranean Family, the food delivery service of chef Dani García. The cook’s project, which started at the beginning of 2022, has had the collaboration of other gamers and youtubers such as Rubius, Vegetta777 or Willyrex to create the most ‘geeky’ menus and revolutionize the networks. The collaboration with Llanos, which was announced via his Twitter account in February, will be available starting tomorrow.
Dani García’s The Gaming Family category, intended solely for projects with content creators, has six other menus that have already taken the cake by storm. Specifically, the latter, in collaboration with IlloJuan, recorded the first weekend that more than 15,000 orders were available. Although it seems, as Llanos presumes on his social networks, that his is the “best menu that has been made to date” and it comes to break records.
The streamer, with more than 11 million followers on the Twitch platform, tested the menus of the first brand ambassadors, Rubius, Vegetta777 and Willyrex, through his channel, and expressed: “Man, I want to get a menu too” . Said and done, because in the month of February he devised El Gran Menú de Ibai together with the Marbella chef, a sequence of dishes based on the tastes and experiences of Llanos, in which there is no shortage of references to the events he organizes and his professional career .
The menu is based on five courses, with starters, main dishes and dessert, all full of the essence and personal touch of its creator. You can taste a Txuleta Dog, which refers to the streamer’s hometown, Bilbao, and consists of a hot dog bun, Txuleta sausage and the famous Dani García Bull sauce with crispy bacon and straw potatoes on top, accompanied of fries.
You can also find the Bocata Bull, which has a cheek, the same sauce as the previous one and Havarti cheese inside a loaf of rustic bread, with French fries as a side dish. Both this dish and the Txuleta Dog will be priced at 13.50 euros. As a novelty within The Gaming Family menus, Ibai’s will feature Disaster Wings, chicken wings glazed with miso, honey and chive barbecue sauce. But there is still more.
Another of the starters, which will cost 8.50 euros, available from tomorrow on home delivery platforms, will be the Challenge Croquettes, six roast chicken and spiced bechamel croquettes. As a curiosity, the man from Bilbao has asked Dani García that one of them be spicy, to put his fans to the test. And, as a climax, there will be the Ibaiyaki, a fluffy pancake filled with dulce de leche with chocolate syrup, for 7.50 euros.
Everyone knows that food enters through the eyes, including Ibai Llanos, which is why they have designed, together with the La Gran Familia Mediterránea team, the packaging for their gastronomic offer. Inspired by his tastes, his professional career and his events that he organizes such as La Velada del año or the Kings League, some of these references can be seen in the boxes. Although other of his inspirations have been vintage cereal boxes and the circus, very present in the entire essence of El Gran Menú de Ibai.
With the incorporation of the Llanos menu to the rest of the proposals from youtubers and gamers, Dani García’s delivery adopts a more urban, digital and youthful air. It is a project that has been successful, especially among the younger generations, and which has the purpose of uniting haute cuisine with the world of digital talents and their communities, bringing their worlds and hobbies to the earthly plate of food. This is a very unique bet that is growing and increasingly incorporates more familiar faces to La Gran Familia Mediterránea.
