Preparing rice in the microwave is a quick and clean way to cook this cereal. We propose a basic recipe to prepare white rice, but if you want to give a touch to your white rice garnishes, you can follow the recipe but flavor the rice, adding a pinch of curry, a clove of garlic or a little butter so that It’s creamier.
> 1 glass of rice.
> 2 glasses of water.
> A pinch of salt.
> 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil.
1. In a microwave-safe container, preferably glass, heat the water for a couple of minutes at maximum power until it bubbles.
2. Remove the container from the microwave and add the rice along with a few drops of oil and salt.
3.Cover and place the container back in the microwave, and let it cook for about 15 minutes at medium power.
4. Taste the rice, and if it is missing a bit, put it again in the microwave for a couple more minutes but at maximum power.
5. Let it rest and loosen the rice with a fork.
