The situation experienced by Paul, a well-known TikToker of American origin, has sparked controversy after revealing how he was expelled from a restaurant in Seattle for going with his guide dog.

In a video published on the platform, Paul recounts the disconcerting episode he experienced when he tried to access the establishment with his guide dog.

According to Paul’s story, upon entering the restaurant with his guide dog, he was approached by a person from the establishment who informed him that pets were not accepted, but “only service dogs.” At this, Paul explained that his dog was, in fact, a guide dog. However, the situation became even more uncomfortable when the person in question denied entry, arguing that “emotional support dogs” were not accepted.

In the video, Paul expresses his disbelief at the restaurant staff’s refusal, showing the dog’s harness (special for guiding) and explaining his condition as a blind person. However, the person at the establishment seemed not to believe him, even questioning the veracity of his disability by stating that he was looking directly at him.

“What would lead that man to believe that I was lying to him?” Paul asked himself in the video, evidencing his frustration at the lack of understanding and empathy on the part of the restaurant staff. Not happy with that, the man refused to let Paul bring him the dog’s papers and told him that “if you ever set foot in the restaurant with the dog again, I will call the police.”

Paul’s story has generated a wave of indignation on social networks, with numerous users expressing their support and solidarity towards him, and asking the TikToker to call the police next time to see how the story ends.
