Drinks and food from movies and series usually catch the attention of fans, and there are those who seek to replicate them in real life. In the case of Friends, for example, the official recipe book was published detailing menus such as Thanksgiving; although it is true that in that case it was easier to replicate the products.

On the other hand, it was a little more complicated to do it with other fictions such as the Harry Potter saga, created by J.K Rowling. Butterbeer caught the attention of fans and a version of the product has been marketed. There was even a rumor that the Starbucks chain would serve it. Now, can it be prepared at home? Tiktoker @lacocinadelpirata shared a very special recipe.

Before getting into the matter, the TikToker warns that it is a trick, a preparation that aims to visually mislead the diner by presenting a product that is associated with a flavor but that is actually something different. And this time, it’s also salty.

The first thing to do to prepare this Harry Potter butterbeer is to cook the pumpkin on the grill. Meanwhile, cut the onions into julienne strips and cook them in a frying pan in which two squares of butter have previously been added.

Add a little salt and let the onion cook for 40 minutes. When the pumpkin has blackened skin, it is already cooked and cut into squares. Then add it to the pan with the onion and add more butter. Then, season with salt and pepper and cover with water and cook for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the beer foam is prepared. To do this, pour the milk and cheese into a pot, and when the cheese is melted and the mixture is well integrated, add the cream. The mixture must then be strained, and the liquid is deposited into a siphon to make a foam. Of course, to do this you have to put the device in the refrigerator to cool it down. Finally you have to crush the pumpkin cream, pour it “into a cool glass”, like a Hogwarts cup, and add the foam. The result, a spectacular pumpkin cream with the appearance of a butterbeer worthy of The Three Broomsticks.
