Bridesmaids were ordered to'hit the Fitness Center' if they're not a size 8: Reddit

Bride demands the women in her wedding party lose weight if they can’t match the dresses she bought

A bridesmaid reportedly dropped from a wedding following her friend made her wedding party weight contingent.

The contentious demand was captured in a three-part screenshot that was shared into the”Selecting Beggars” subreddit — a Reddit thread that is devoted to sharing stories about”individuals who are being far too picky when begging for things.”

According to the anonymous and frustrated bridesmaid’s post, the concerned bride-to-be composed that anybody within her bridal party over a size 8 might have to eliminate weight to take part in her wedding.

“I handpicked each of the dresses [for the bridesmaids] which will be there and they’ll all be a size 8. Therefore, if you’re not a size I suggest hitting the gym,” the bride reportedly wrote, according to the very first screenshot. “No offense to anybody but I have had this planned because I was in diapers and need it perfect.”

The bridesmaid who shared the outlandish order clarified to Redditors that she fell from her friend’s wedding party since she’s”a size 12 with no plans on falling to a size 8 December.”

The bride, whose identity was redacted in the screenshots, had other strict requirements because of the bridal party’s appearance.

Fake tans are also not allowed in her event along with children. A single flower girl will be in attendance for the service, though when her flower-throwing responsibilities are done she will be immediately taken home.

Outside of what the bride wants her Oklahoma wedding to look like, she’s expecting every member of her wedding celebration to contribute $500 toward her honeymoon.

“I’m sorry if this seems like [a lot] of demands but that [is a] unique afternoon and [I] just need it as if I always pictured. Plz be respectful and we’ll have an awesome time,” the bride composed at the conclusion of this third screenshot. “Love you guys can’t wait to be a wifey.”

The Reddit post has received more than 61,600 upvotes since its original posting on Monday, May 17.

“No one cares about your wedding as far as you do… This is just fact,” the other Redditor quipped. “Obviously, reality is not within her lexicon.”

Meanwhile, a different user suggested that the bride”hit her back with a $600 wedding appearance fee.”

Additional Redditors questioned what might happen to bridesmaids who are smaller than a size 8 or possess hair that is more than shoulder length.

“Would you have to gain weight and cut your hair?” One user contested.

On the other hand, the bridesmaid who dropped from the bridal party was unable to supply an answer.
