By surprise, Madeline has become the captain of the sailboat of an American couple who lives aboard this family boat, and now has one more member. She is a little kitten, whose life has completely changed. A few months ago she was wandering the streets of Greece. And now she sails the seas like another cabin boy.
“I used to live in Greece, but this crazy American couple picked me up and took me to their sailboat,” her human friend explains in a video on TikTok.
It seems that Madeline is not doing badly at all. “I’ve now been to over twenty islands!” she says. And she’s looking forward to seeing many more: “I’m excited to visit some new countries this year as our adventure continues!”
The kitten moves around the sailboat like a fish in water. He “loves climbing the mast, watching the fish in the water and sunbathing on the solar panels.”
Madeline’s arrival has been a breath of fresh air for the boat. “I highly recommend adopting a cat if you live on a sailboat. They’re great for morale and pest control,” explains her human friend, who couldn’t be happier to have her in the family.
“It’s hard to believe that almost six months have passed since we adopted her and she assumed her rightful role as the true captain of our ship,” say her owners. But this kitten’s adventures have only just begun.
