Alpacas arouse sympathy wherever they go. These animals can be observed in some Peruvian cities such as Puno, Cusco, Arequipa and Huancavelica. They live in mountainous areas and it is not common to see them in the center of a city, much less entering an establishment, as happened with an alpaca that visited a Starbucks with its owner.

In a video that has gone viral on TikTok, a woman can be seen loading the animal into the car and traveling to the window service of this American chain.

The alpaca does not go in the passenger seat. She travels on her legs, without any safety system to protect her in the event of an accident. You can’t see the animal’s face, but it seems calm throughout the episode, perhaps a little scared.

First, the woman places her order. She waits a few minutes and moves forward with the animal. The staff realizes that it is not just any customer and several workers come to the window to confirm that, as it seemed, there is an alpaca in the car.

When the owner stops in front of the window, the workers cannot hide their surprise at what they are seeing. They give it a kind of glass of cream, but one of them can’t resist petting the animal, which doesn’t get upset at any time.

Many social media users were also excited about the visit. “He’s so cute,” wrote one. “They were very excited, but I would be too. He is very adorable,” adds another.
