On May 2, the WITO Euroselecció Space became the setting for an unprecedented oenological experience, organized by Gourmet La Vanguardia.

And the vertical tasting of Acústic Celler, a winery that has managed to position itself in the hearts of wine lovers thanks to its deep respect for native varieties and its commitment to organic viticulture, was the center of attention of an evening that It promised and more than delivered, to be unforgettable.

This tasting focused on two of their most emblematic wines, Braó and Auditori, offering attendees the unique opportunity to explore three different vintages of each, making a total of six wines. This tour of the 2009, 2013 and 2018 vintages of Auditori, and 2012, 2014 and 2020 of Braó, allowed participants to discover the evolution and complexity that these wines have acquired over time, reflecting the unique subtleties of the Montsant terroir.

Albert Jané, alma mater of Acústic Celler and from the Jané Ventura family of winemakers, was in charge of guiding this experience. Jané, who transferred her passion to the DO Montsant with Acústic Celler and later to the DOQ Priorat with Ritme Celler, shared with the attendees her vision and her oenological philosophy, focused on the purest and honest expression of Garnacha and Cariñena, varieties that dominate the wine-growing landscape of the region.

The choice of Riedel glasses for the tasting was no coincidence. Considered the best in the world, these glasses are designed to enhance the characteristics of each wine, allowing a deeper appreciation of its aromas and flavors. In this context, the Syrah/Shiraz glass proved to be the ideal companion to balance the intense tannins and concentrated fruit of medium-bodied red wines, such as those presented in the tasting.

The story of Acústic Celler, founded in 2003 when Albert Jané fell in love with the ancient vineyards of Montsant, is one of love and respect for the land. The winery began with the purchase of 1.5 hectares of Grenache from 1932, expanding to almost 45 hectares of Cariñenas and old Grenache, all organically grown. This philosophy is reflected in each bottle, where Grenache, with vines between 70 and 90 years old, provides finesse, fruit, perfume and complexity.

The Acústic Celler vertical tasting was not only an opportunity to taste exceptional wines, but also to understand the evolution of a project that has managed to remain faithful to its principles, respecting the legacy of the native varieties and the natural environment of Montsant. Attendees were able to experience firsthand how each vintage reflects the particularities of its harvest year, offering a window to the past and a promise of what is to come.

In short, the Acústic Celler vertical tasting was a true success, not only because of the quality of the wines presented, but also because of the passion and knowledge shared by Albert Jané.

This event became a celebration of tradition, innovation and commitment to excellence, values ??that define Acústic Celler and that, without a doubt, will continue to captivate wine lovers for years to come.
