The Acústic Celler winery stands as an emblem of viticulture with soul and tradition in the Denomination of Origin Montsant. Founded in 2003 by Albert Jané, this winery has been able to combine the ancestral wisdom of the vineyards with a modern philosophy that respects the environment. Acústic Celler is the result of a dream, to create wines that are a faithful reflection of its terroir, using exclusively indigenous varieties and practicing ecological viticulture.

The winery works directly with 54 hectares of old vineyards, of which 42 are owned, cultivating mainly Grenache and Cariñena, but also Grenache Blanca, Pansal and Macabeo. These vines, some of which are over 95 years old, are scattered in the Montsant area, from Els Guiamets to Marçà, passing through Capçanes and Cornudella del Montsant.

Acústic Celler has managed to stand out in the wine scene thanks to its commitment to the production of “acoustic” wines, that is, wines that are made without technological interventions that could distort their essence. This philosophy seeks to preserve the purity and most authentic expression of each variety and each plot, respecting the natural cycle of the vine and the environment.

Among Acústic Celler’s most emblematic and premium wines are Auditori and Braó, two exponents that encapsulate the essence and character of the winery.

It is a wine that pays tribute to Garnacha, the queen variety of Montsant. From vineyards between 70 and 90 years old, this wine is a hymn to finesse, fruit and complexity. Its production respects the grape as much as possible, seeking varietal expressiveness through careful maceration and aging for 12 months in first-use French oak barrels. Auditori is a wine that invites reflection, offering emotional balance and spiritual peace comparable to the experience of listening to acoustic music in an auditorium.

For its part, it is a wine that is defined by its character and seduction. Made from vineyards planted in the 30s and 40s of the last century, Braó is a selection of the best Grenache and Cariñena plots. This wine is a tribute to the strength, valor and courage of these ancestral vineyards, which against all adversities have continued to offer a scarce fruit, but of unique singularity and expression. The 12-month aging in French oak barrels gives the wine a complexity and elegance that makes it a benchmark within the DO Montsant.

Acústic Celler, with its focus on organic viticulture, respect for native varieties and the search for the purest expression of the terroir, has established itself as one of the most respected and admired wineries in Montsant.

Recently these wines were protagonists in a vertical tasting organized by Gourmet La Vanguardia, where attendees were able to appreciate the evolution and depth of Auditori and Braó through different vintages.

This tasting, held on May 2 at the Wito Euroselecció space in Barcelona, ??was a real success and allowed participants to immerse themselves in the rich history and unique character of these wines.
