They say that you have to behave with others as you would like them to behave with you. Also with the employees who serve you in a restaurant, although this is not always the case. This is what a waitress has criticized who has gone viral after sharing a video in which she shows how some customers left the table and the floor of the restaurant when they left.
“Thank you. Thank you for this beautiful picture,” says the worker ironically while recording the table. In this video shared by the popular Twitter profile @SoyCamarero, you can see how dirty the floor has become after the departure of the diners, full of torn napkins and packets of sugar and medicine.
And, as expected, with the table they have not been cleaner. A glass filled with chocolate shake mixed with napkins is the other “wonder” that the waitress finds when she is about to clean up. “I’ll pick it up with lots of love,” she adds sarcastically.
For the most part, the numerous comments that the tweet accumulates side with the employee and criticize that some people still believe in statements such as “he who pays is in charge” or “the customer is always right.” The user @Hijo_De_Enki sums it up like this: “The thought of many people is: ‘I pay and therefore I have the right to everything’. That everything includes treating the waiter as they want and playing the balls what they consider.”
Other answers put on the table the debate about how children should behave in the restaurant. “At that table there were small children or adolescents and parents who have set zero limits, of course it is not the fault of the children, but of the parents,” says the tweeter @franci991.
The video has also become an excuse for other colleagues in the sector to share their experiences. “We picked up seven diapers from the terrace floor on Saturday. Every day it is more difficult to endure this profession,” laments @iriaizan.
The popular account @SoyCamarero, managed by the waiter Jesús Soriano, shares videos, images and comments that criticize the behavior of customers in bars and restaurants every day. Many of his publications go viral, so he is a fantastic speaker for a sector that is crying out for more respect, since it is one of the great economic engines of the country.
