The maternal instinct did not fail this cat who showed up at a clinic in the city of Izmir, in Turkey (it happened in 2021 and has gone viral again), looking for professional help for her puppies who could not open their eyes because of their account, reports RT.
The feline took her three sick babies by the neck to the municipal medical facility.
Employees told local media that the mother showed up with her offspring in the morning, just when they started admitting patients, and started asking for help “meowing non-stop.”
Thus he managed to attract the attention of health workers, who, upon realizing that the little ones needed assistance, took a look at them and saw that their eyes were infected, says RT.
The pups received treatment. After applying a few drops, they were finally able to open their eyes.
One of the clinic employees explained that it was not an unknown cat. The animal lived on a nearby street and the staff used to give it water and something to eat. However, they did not know that she had recently given birth, says RT.
According to testimonies, this was the first time that an animal went to the establishment in search of medical help, and the employees were very excited to see the cat with her recovered puppies.
After providing professional help and whatever initial care they could, the staff redirected the four cats to local veterinary services, where they received the necessary care and were adopted.
