Over a seven-day period, at least 16,800 people have been hospitalized in the U.S. for Covid. This is a record high that was reached during the omicron surge. In the country affected by the pandemic, there have been an average of 60,000 Covid hospitalizations per day.
Many hospitals are in trouble because of Covid. Hospitals felt the burden of high patient loads while nurses across the country are decreasing.
