Zinedine Zidane’s family is celebrating. This past Wednesday, May 22, the former soccer player’s first-born welcomed his second and third daughter, the result of his marriage to the Venezuelan Karen Gonçalves. Happy news that was announced this Thursday, May 23, through his social networks.

The arrival of the twins has filled the couple with happiness, but also Zinedide Zidane and his wife, Véronique Zidane, who have become grandparents again two years after the birth of their first granddaughter. Enzo Zidane’s eldest daughter, Sia, came into the world in May 2022, making the former footballer a grandfather for the first time at the age of 49. Great news that they also wanted to announce through their social networks with an image very similar to that of their sisters: the couple holding Sia in their arms from the hospital.
It was at the beginning of 2024 when Enzo Zidane and Karen Gonçalves announced to the entire world that they were going to be parents again. Now, the couple is once again starting a new stage of their life, but this time with three little girls at home.
The birth of little Giulia and Kaia comes four years after the couple announced their engagement after two years of dating. However, Zinadine Zidane’s son and his wife had to wait two years to be able to walk down the aisle due to Covid-19 restrictions. For this reason, Enzo Zidane and Karen Gonçalve married in Marrakech in December 2022, several months after Sia’s birth.
