Vanesa Romero has definitively clarified her future in La que se avecina, a series in which she gives life to Raquel Villanueva. After not appearing in the previous season, number 13 since its premiere in 2007, the actress definitively shelved her journey in the production broadcast by Telecinco and the Amazon Prime Video platform.
Romero has given an interview to Pronto magazine and has gone into detail about the reasons why he has decided to leave the well-known comedy. “I will not return to La que se avecina because I am embarked on other projects and I could not combine them with the long work sessions of the series,” she has assured.
One of the interpreter’s new adventures is the podcast she makes with Cristina Medina, Vanesa’s partner in LQSA and her cousin in the series. “Space is called the left hemisphere. We are great friends and life has brought us together again in this project,” she says, assuring that they get along “very well and there is great harmony between the two.”
The actress’s words contrast with those she uttered a year ago, upon learning that she would not appear in the previous season of the series either. So, she assured that she could return if she was able to due to scheduling reasons. Something that ultimately will not happen.
Despite the unexpected departure, Vanesa Romero only has words of gratitude for those who have been her partners in the series for so many years. “I left wonderful friends there, because we were a great family”, she has assured in her statements to Pronto, already in the past tense.
The fourteenth season of La que se avecina has already started and it will have a return: that of Paz Padilla as the interpreter of La Chusa, as confirmed by Alberto Caballero, director and creator of the series. In addition, season 13 will be broadcast shortly on Telecinco, where only the first episode was broadcast last November due to its exclusivity with the Prime Video platform.
