Everyone has experienced an earth swallow me moment. Celebrities are no strangers to these uncomfortable experiences, as Vanesa Martín recently demonstrated on the program Martínez y Hermanos de Cuatro, where she was accompanied by Inés Hernand and María León.

The Andalusian singer, who has just released The Knot, shared a peculiar anecdote that happened to her during a trip to New York, while she was preparing for a performance. At one point, he ran into a fan who works at the hotel and wanted to meet her personally: “A girl calls me in the hotel room and says: I’m a fan of yours, I’d like to say hi to you. I told her: I’m getting into the shower, now I’ll come down and greet you.”

However, this kind warning became unexpectedly uncomfortable for the artist. “She was in the shower, naked, when I heard someone enter the room,” she said. Even though the singer had made it clear that she was going to get into the shower, the girl showed up in the room: “It was the fan, who came to leave me a bottle of wine.”

Laughing, he explained that, although initially it was a moment to forget, he now remembers it with humor: “The girl asked if I was there and I ended up answering yes as best I could.” Fortunately, the woman from Malaga was able to emerge unscathed from this encounter in the bathroom and no one saw her naked.

This anecdote, according to the singer, was especially annoying because she had to desperately hold the bathroom door to maintain her privacy. Furthermore, she made it very clear that she did not understand why it had happened because she “could hear the water running in the shower” and it was evident that she was getting ready. Furthermore, she had also warned him that she was going to take a shower.
