His manager, CBS News, said that Tony Sirico, an actor best known for his iconic role as Paulie Walnuts Gualtieri, a mobster on “The Sopranos”, has passed away at the age of just 79.
Manager Bob McGowan described him as “a great, loyal customer.” “He would do anything for people in need.”
McGowan didn’t provide a cause for death.
Michael Imperioli, the actor who played Christopher Moltisanti in “The Sopranos”, honored Sirico via Instagram. “Tony was unlike anyone else: he was tough, loyal and big-hearted like everyone i’ve ever met.”
