On July 8, Tamara Falcó fulfilled one of her dreams and went down the aisle to marry “the love of her life”, the Madrid businessman Íñigo Onieva. The Marquise de Griñón thus received the sacrament of her marriage, something really important to her.
The ceremony was held in the chapel of the El Rincón palace, a farm that Ana Boyer’s sister inherited from her father, Carlos Falcó. After so many months of media pressure, preparations and tension, everything went smoothly and both the guests and the protagonists ended up delighted.
A few days later, Falcó and Onieva embarked on their long-awaited honeymoon and left Spain to celebrate a particular ‘around the world’. Although it was said that they would start with Australia, the young couple surprised the media by opting for South Africa.
In addition to flying first class, the couple enjoyed private safaris and luxurious hotels in the African country, where they could be in contact with nature and have an incredible experience. Once there, they made different excursions and trips, such as their visit to Zambia to see the Victoria Falls.
Although it seemed that they had finally visited ‘only’ the African continent, once they arrived in Spain, the lovers began to share photos and videos of their trip to French Polynesia, an experience in which they toured different islands by bike and in which they were able to swim with stingrays and sharks in crystal clear waters.
But how much money has the couple been able to spend on the entire trip? Here we leave you some of the prices of the hotels, flights and experiences that the protagonists have lived in recent weeks.
On their first trip from Spain to South Africa alone, the lovers spent around 3,500 euros per person, a figure within the reach of very few. In addition, they had to catch a second plane to Cape Town. His first hotel was the Belmond Mount Nelson, which costs about 1,500 euros per night.
After taking another flight (about 250 euros per person) to reach the Sabi Sabi reserve, the newlyweds stayed in one of the most luxurious spaces in the world: the Amber Villa, a suite inside the Earth lodge that had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, private pool overlooking the savannah… This cost them around 5,600 euros per night and included several private safaris, as well as food.
Without stopping to rest, the couple made two more flights after finishing their stay in South Africa and arrived in Zambia, where they visited the famous Victoria Falls. The ‘lovebirds’ spent a few days at the Royal Livingstone By Anantara, an exclusive hotel that costs around 1,300 euros per night. In addition, they did some expensive activities there, such as bungee jumping or a helicopter tour.
In the second part of the trip, after flying to Tahiti, Tamara and Íñigo took a private plane to Bora Bora to enjoy the most famous island in French Polynesia. There they stayed in the luxurious Four Seasons complex, which costs 5,415 euros per night.
Although French Polynesia was supposedly the end of their honeymoon, Onieva and his wife made one last stop in Paris and shared some romantic days at the Hotel de Crillon, which costs between 5,000 and 6,000 euros per night.
Although it is difficult to calculate exactly because the lovers have tried to mislead the press, Álvaro Falcó’s cousin and her husband would have spent between 100,000 and 120,000 euros in hotels and more than 30,000 euros on flights, so the sum The total for the trip would be around 150,000 euros, a figure that many cannot even dream of.
