Series lovers know that, when the leaves fall from the trees, it’s time to go into a movie theater to watch and hear about series. The Serielizados Fest, which will be held from October 17 to 21 in Barcelona and from the 24 to 28 of the same month in Madrid, already has programming for the festival. The star guest is the creator of Succession, Jesse Armstrong, as announced, although other illustrious names such as Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, Álex de la Iglesia, Aina Clotet and Berto Romero join in.
This is not Sweden, co-directed by Mar Coll and Aina Clotet, will start the contest. The series, which narrates in a comedy-drama key the contradiction about contemporary paternity, is a co-production of 3cat, Rtve and the Swedish public television STV. In addition, Spanish series such as La Mesías, the new series by the Javis for Movistar, Déjate ver by Álvaro Carmona for Atresplayer, the documentary series Las vidas de Fèlix by Fèlix Colomer for HBO Max and the horror comedy El otro lado que Berto Romero writes and stars for Movistar.
Among the different events that the festival will offer, the new animation series by Juanjo Sáez, creator of Arròs covat, who returns with Roni, stands out; the conversation that Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo will have; the 30 coin marathon with Álex de la Iglesia, who will participate in a colloquium; the live show of the podcast Explained in Green and Miso Soup, which will go hand in hand with the production of One Piece Film: Red; the tribute to Dagoll Dagom’s Oh Europe, which celebrates his 30th birthday; and Jesse Armstrong’s conversation will have with journalist Toni Garcia Ramon.
Tickets for this tenth edition of the Serielizados Fest, which will alternate between the CCCB, the Sala Phenomena, CASA SEAT and the Auditori Blanquerna, are already on sale, as are those for Madrid, which will take place at the Cine Estudio del Círculo de Fine Arts, Cinesa Projections and Film Academy.
