The reason of force majeure why Silvia Bronchalo has not attended the trial of her son Daniel Sancho today

The crime of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta shocked Spain and Thailand last August, after Daniel Sancho confessed to having dismembered him. The Spaniard has remained in Samui prison since then, awaiting a trial that began this morning in the face of widespread media expectation. Information about this comes in dribs and drabs, but a notable detail has emerged in the last few hours.

TardeAR, one of the programs that has dedicated the most coverage to the case, has had the participation of Carolina Castro at the collaborators’ table. As Silvia Bronchalo’s lawyer, she has uncovered the force majeure reason why the accused’s mother had to be absent from this start of the trial, since she has not appeared at the proceedings. Her health has been the main cause of her non-attendance.

From the Fuencarral set, Castro revealed that his client was in a state of significant indisposition. Different events that he did not want to reveal, that occurred in recent days, would be the reason for this bad state. The lawyer, however, insisted on Bronchalo’s desire to attend the trial and be by her son’s side. Likewise, she has indicated that the parent will attend the trial as soon as her condition improves.

“She is not going through a good time, in addition to other tangential circumstances,” Castro detailed, while Ana Rosa Quintana recalled other open fronts of the actress such as her complaints against Rodolfo Sancho. An alleged crime of gender violence was the main reason why the ex-couple went through the Alcobendas courts, generating a tense clash between the actor and the reporters present.

“You’re pushing me, please. Hey, do you want me to talk or not?” he launched into the tangle of journalists who were trying to get a statement from him at the doors of the building. His response was annoying, recriminating the complaint: “I am very angry with this and this type of complaint does a disservice to people who really suffer gender violence. It’s done thank you”. Some words similar to those of his lawyers, in mid-February.

“There is evidence, in the possession of our client Mr. Rodolfo Sancho Aguirre, that does reliably demonstrate serious threats and insults by Mrs. Silvia Bronchalo Santos, which are not only limited to her person, but are also extended to her lawyers and where an express threat is made towards his partner, his daughter, a minor, and the professional career of our client,” the Balfagón-Chipirrás law firm expressed in a statement.
