Carmen Ballesteros and Juan Diego García have taken another step in their relationship by uniting their lives in marriage. The couple chose the Puente de San Miguel estate, owned by the Botín family, in Cantabria to celebrate this day full of emotions and love.

The bride, who is the niece of Ana Botín, current president of Banco Santander, chose an exclusive Rosa Clará design for her dress. It consisted of a dress with a long-sleeved bodice and a sweetheart neckline in lace, complemented by a long, fluid skirt with a chiffon train. The outfit was completed by a tulle veil, white platform sandals and a bouquet of white flowers.

In addition to celebrating her wedding, Carmen remembered her father, Severiano Ballesteros, who died in 2011 and was a very important figure in the world of golf. The bride confessed that her absence was greatly felt, especially considering the importance of such an important day. “I have a surprise in her honor,” she said in an interview prior to the wedding.

Despite the absence of her father, the bride felt accompanied and supported by her mother, Carmen Botín, and her older brothers, Javier and Miguel, who were present to share this moment. Paloma O’Shea, her grandmother, was also there.

The chosen enclave, 30 kilometers from Santander, is not only special for its beauty and proximity to nature, but also for being part of Carmen’s personal history, having been her home during part of her childhood and the place where they rest. the remains of the banker Emilio Botín, his grandfather.

Just before the wedding, the couple decided to have a party to train in the heat. For this much more relaxed occasion, the couple chose another place with a lot of weight: the house-museum that Severiano Ballesteros built in Pedreña.
