In the history of our country, there are a large number of series that will remain in the memory of viewers. Among them, without a doubt, is Here there is no one who lives, a production that from 2003 to 2006 won the affection of the public. More than 20 years after its premiere, the series returns to the present, and two of its most recognized actors have met again. These are Malena Alterio and Fernando Tejero, who starred in an emotional moment at the celebration of the 38th edition of the Goya Awards, which were held this Saturday at the Valladolid Fair.
A large number of recognized faces gathered this Saturday at the ceremony. There were many memorable moments that the gala left, and while some were very fun, others made the audience excited. It was the case of the moment in which Malena, Belén in the series, and Fernando, Fernando in the production, met again after she won the Goya for ‘Best Actress’ for the film Let Nobody Sleep.
Tejero, completely overcome with emotion, hugged his partner to congratulate her on having achieved the greatest recognition in Spanish cinema. Tejero began to cry after hugging the woman with whom he has met so many times at work. And, together, they formed one of the most remembered couples in Spanish fiction in the aforementioned series. “My love, don’t cry, I’m crying,” the actress asked, with the award in her hand. “If they give it to me, I don’t have the same excitement. I love you. Congratulations,” he wrote on his Instagram profile.
After receiving the award, the actress was very excited. “I still don’t believe it. I have it here, I know it’s real, but I think it will be a few days until I realize that I have a Goya,” she expressed after the ceremony, before the microphones of Europa Press and Gtres. “When I went up I thought ‘don’t let it fall’,” she expressed, about her fear that the statuette would fall to the ground. “I have tried to review the people with whom I wanted to share, and to get my breath and to not let my heart race too much,” she said.
The predictions that she was going to be the winner came true and she finally won the statuette, completing a hat trick after the awards already collected in the Forqué and the Feroz. Without a doubt, it was a very special moment, but if there is something that made it special, it is having all of his people to celebrate it, including Tejero, with whom he had so many adventures in the past.
