This year’s edition of Survivors is being very eventful, and Ángel Cristo Jr. is doing nothing to calm the waters. In fact, he is being one of the great agitators of the reality show: he has had discussions with everyone, including Laura Madrueño, and has recently gone on a hike through Cayo Menor.
This recent escape to the confines of the island has led the organization to take extreme measures: call the Honduran Armed Forces to come and rescue him, since as the hours passed they could not find him. As he himself has explained, he just wanted to be calm despite the consequences that it could bring.
The program does not have much credibility for viewers. So the appearance of the military has sown discord among the audience, who already think badly of everything. They have even questioned whether the Armed Forces were real.
To reinforce Cristo Jr.’s act of indiscipline, the program showed images of the Honduran Army arriving at the beach and deploying to start a rescue party. However, it didn’t take long for these images to disappear, something that raised suspicions among the Survivor audience.
A good part of the viewers found it strange that the part about the military was completely deleted to leave the same video, but edited so that only the images of the contestants appear without any trace of the presence of the Army: “It smells like singeing.”
In addition, it has also begun to be theorized that the soldiers were not members of any special body, but rather actors hired by the organization to stage the search for Christ Jr.: “I’m sure they are actors.”
In this sense, they have highlighted that the members of the Honduran Armed Forces “all carry the flag” of their country on their right sleeve, a detail that the rescuers who moved to the island did not have. Likewise, he explained that the organization of the reality show has been forced to rectify and delete any image in which the military appeared to protect their identities and not reveal any tactics that they may put into practice. However, in X’s account you can see the faces of numerous soldiers.
