The new edition of Survivors is about to start on Mediaset. The program hosted by Jorge Javier Vázquez, Laura Madrueño, Sandra Barneda and Carlos Sobera will kick off tonight at 10 p.m. on Telecinco.

A premiere that will be marked by the now legendary jumps from the helicopter, from where the 17 contestants will have to jump into the water to begin the extreme adventure in the paradisiacal Cayos Cochinos with the aim of achieving the desired victory and taking home the 200,000 euros final prize. .

On the occasion of the premiere of Mediaset’s star program, from La Vanguardia we wanted to remember some of the most memorable jumps in the history of Supervivientes. Without a doubt, one of the most popular and commented jumps in the entire history of survival space was that of Rosa Benito. The ex-wife of Amador Rivas, who ended up proclaiming herself the winner of the 2011 edition, performed the lowest jump in the history of the contest.

Another of the most remembered will always be that of Isabel Pantoja in the 2019 edition. And not because she did something unique during the jump, but because of the expectation that her participation in the contest generated. But even though she was one of the main protagonists of the program, her time in Honduras lasted less than expected, since she had to leave the contest for health reasons.

Bosco Martínez Bordiú, winner of the last edition, and Tatiana Delgado, a contestant on Supervivientes 2011, performed two of the most dangerous jumps on the program. Pocholo’s nephew was sanctioned by the organization for doing a somersault in the middle of the jump. For her part, the actress had to return to Spain due to the displacement of one of her breast prostheses after the jump.

Leticia Sabater was another of the contestants who starred in an accident jump in 2017, although in this case everything ended in a small scare. And the presenter jumped from the helicopter with such determination that she fell backwards into the water. Pedro Oliva, winner of Big Brother 4, left the audience breathless with his respective jump from the helicopter. And the man who was Inma González’s husband, who knew nothing, jumped into the water badly and began to spin in the air.

This same Thursday, March 7, Isabel Rábago revealed on the Telecinco program Vamos a Ver what the hours were like before the expected jump from the helicopter. ”You realize when it starts from the first moment because the team stops talking to you and looking at you. They try to give you a class on how to jump from the helicopter, that you forget the moment you get on the platform, and that is letting yourself go and jumping,” said the collaborator, who competed in the 2015 edition.

”In my case, I didn’t bother with my editing because they put me on a boat for a month so that I would suffer more than on the beach. But they search you completely because you can’t put anything in there to help start a fire. There were people who went crazy and even hid things in their hair,” said Alexia Rivas, a former contestant in the 2021 edition.
