The second edition of Big Brother Duo celebrated the final of its second edition yesterday. Although everything was prepared for the program to proclaim its winner last Thursday, a failure in the application of votes made the management make the decision to postpone the final until Sunday.

Marta Flich expressed to the audience at all times that it was a very close final and that the percentages were practically the same. Finally, she announced that the winning contestant had obtained 53.1% of the total votes, while the runner-up had obtained 46.9% of popular support.

When the presenter announced that the winner of the Mediaset Spain reality show was Lucía, she couldn’t help but scream and throw herself to the ground. At that moment, different former contestants ran to hug her and lifted her into her arms to celebrate her victory.

Although he was somewhat sad for not having achieved victory in the program, Asraf Beno demonstrated his professionalism and sportsmanship and, upon hearing the news, applauded the audience’s decision in an elegant manner.

”Thank you for understanding. Sometimes I have thought that I didn’t deserve it. I dedicate it to my daughter and my family. Angels I love you. Thanks to the team I have that always trusts me. To Mayka, to my family, to my family, to my brother, to my brother-in-law and to my daughter above all. Thank you all,” exclaimed the nervous, but happy winner.

After hearing the audience’s verdict, the program connected with Sara, a friend whom Lucía chose to defend her on set. “I knew she was going to win, I have not doubted her for a moment. Because I know her, I know how good she is, generous, despite the character she has,” said Sara. ”I thank you, you are a very good friend. The people who love you tell you the truth and you are a very good person,” Lucía shared on her behalf.

As we have already explained, last Thursday there was a moment of great tension on the Mediaset España set, since, supposedly, the avalanche of votes that the application was receiving to determine the winner ended up bringing down the app. Although some welcomed the solution of delaying the final, others complained about the lack of vision and accused the program of not being sufficiently prepared. Furthermore, many reported that, despite not being able to vote for a long time, the show continued to show how the percentages changed, something extremely rare.

Faced with so many doubts, many users on the Internet have reacted to Lucía’s victory by questioning the veracity of the votes: ”You don’t even believe it,” ”Tongazo,” ”It was very clear that they were going to steal it from Asraf”, I’m indifferent to who won, honestly, but it’s clear that what happened last week was because you didn’t want Asraf to win, period”, etc.
