These days the legendary film festival that bears his name is being held in the French city of Cannes. Since last May 16, different films, documentaries and shorts have been premiering in the acclaimed film competition.

In this 76th edition, Wes Anderson has presented his latest film, Asteroid City. This film project has an exceptional cast that includes great actors such as Margot Robbie, Scarlett Johansson, Edward Norton, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Steve Carell or Tom Hanks, among many others.

The latter has starred in one of the moments that has caused the most talk of the film contest. The veteran actor walked the red carpet holding hands with his wife, Rita Wilson, who also appears in Anderson’s film.

But before parading, the couple worried their followers, since they could see how the Forrest Gump actor had a heated conversation with a man, who appears to be an event worker.

Given the commotion caused by the images, Wilson has clarified through his Instagram account that they were not angry, but simply could not hear what the man was saying and where he had to go.

Starting June 15, Asteroid City will hit theaters around the world. Wes Anderson’s film presents life in a fictitious city in the middle of the American desert, where everything comes to a standstill when an event causes the US government to intervene and forty the municipality.

Anderson has directed and co-written the project with Roman Copp, another Hollywood great. With an exceptional cast, the wacky story is expected to garner huge theatrical grosses as well as rave reviews from experts.
