The Antena 3 program presented by Sonsoles Ónega, And Now Sonsoles, received a visit from Mónica Cruz this Thursday. The actress and dancer is one of the contestants in the new edition of El Desafío, the well-known space presented by Roberto Leal and in which eight famous faces will have to give their all in a series of challenges that will test their physical and mental abilities.

This new edition will kick off this coming Friday. January 12, at 10:00 p.m. Pilar Rubio, Juan del Val and Santiago Segura repeat again as a jury in this fourth season, which will have as contestants Adrián Lastra, Chenoa, Marta Díaz, Mar Flores, Mario Vaquerizo, Mónica Cruz, Pablo Castellano and Pepe Navarro.

On the occasion of the imminent premiere, Mónica Cruz went to the set of Sonsoles Ónega to talk about her journey through the program and to open up about some of the most intimate aspects of her life. The actress from One Step Forward began the interview by assuring that she had taken the program as a “personal challenge.” ”She has given me the opportunity to bring out a part of myself that I didn’t know about (…) Here I have done things that I had never done in my life,” she commented.

One of her most complicated challenges was the balance test, since the actress confessed to being quite afraid of heights. ”I got on and it made me want to vomit. But in the end I have done three height tests,’ she confessed. Regarding the dreaded apnea test, the dancer assured that there were other tests much more difficult than that. ”At least I’m in the water and if I drown I’ll get out, but there are other things that…” she stated.

At one point in the interview, the presenter took a radical turn in the tone of the talk and decided to ask the guest about her love life. And the dancer has always been very reserved with everything that has to do with love. ”It’s complicated. When you are exposed like this, I love my profession, but I prefer to go unnoticed,’ she said.

Suddenly, Sonsoles Ónega asked the following question: ”Tell me something, do we journalists invent everything?”. ”No, there is everything,” responded Penélope Cruz’s sister, who also claimed that she did not pay much attention to what was talked about her in the media.

Regarding whether her heart is currently occupied, the actress declared the following: ”I am in love with life.” A few words with which the dancer let it slip that she might be excited about a new romance. After her statements, the program team played at full volume one of Alejandro Sanz’s legendary songs, Corazón Partío, winking at the rumors of romance between the two that arose weeks ago.
