In recent weeks nothing has been talked about other than cancer. The video of Kate Middleton announcing that she suffers from this disease has gone around the world and has shocked British society. This joins the diagnosis of King Charles III. Something that has generated a whole wave of medical tests in the United Kingdom to try to detect and prevent this.

Even so, they are not the only well-known faces who have spoken about this openly. Shannen Doherty, from Charmed, confessed to having stage 4 breast cancer, metastasis to the brain, and having undergone surgeries and chemotherapy sessions to fight the cancer. Given this, she has expressed on several occasions how she is preparing for when the time comes for her death.

In her podcast Let’s Be Clear, the actress does not hesitate to speak openly about her entire process, being, as the name of the program itself indicates, very clear. Among other things, in the last episode she assured that her “priority at this moment” is her mother. “I know it will be difficult for her if I die before her,” she said.

Given this, he is clear that he wants to make things easier for you in the event that this happens. “Since it’s going to be very difficult for her, I want other things to be much easier. I don’t want her to have a lot of things to deal with. I don’t want her to have four warehouses full of furniture,” he revealed.

And he has not hesitated to organize all his belongings to donate or sell various antiques that he has in his warehouses and that he has been storing over the years. A tedious task that she wants to save her mother in the future “just in case something happens.”

“We were in Tennessee and I was packing up one of the places there. It was really difficult and very emotional because, to a certain extent, I felt like I was giving up this dream of building this property, building a house for myself and a house for my mom and then expand the barn,” he added about the place where he intended to make a home.

And getting rid of that house not only meant saying goodbye to his belongings in the place, but also to the dreams he had about it. The actress planned to create a sanctuary to care for abandoned or “damaged” horses. “I was packing and I started crying… I felt like I was giving up on a dream and what did that mean to me? Did it mean I was giving up on life? Did it mean I was throwing in the towel?” she added.

After much thought, Shannen Doherty has said that she ended up realizing that this dream was a “stupid idea,” but that she is not willing to give it up any other way. A decision for which she has the unconditional support of her mother. All she wants now is to “leave a cleaner, easier transition” for her family.
