Ryan Scott Anderson opens up about his relationship with Gypsy Rose Blanchard
Less than six months ago, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison on parole after serving seven years of a 10-year sentence for her involvement in her mother’s murder. Waiting to pick her up was her then-husband Ryan Scott Anderson, whom she married while she was in jail.

She and her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn plotted to kill her mother, who was found stabbed to death in 2015. Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, while Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
After her release, Blanchard became a social media sensation, gaining millions of followers overnight. Her life post-prison was documented in the Lifetime series “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.”
Anderson shared that the experience of being followed by cameras and fans was overwhelming, but he hopes Blanchard finds herself and happiness in the future.
