Rumer Willis is looking forward to spending Father’s Day with her dad Bruce Willis. The 35-year-old actress shared with The Post how her family plans to celebrate the special day with the “Die Hard” actor, who is currently battling dementia.

Rumer mentioned that Father’s Day has always been a significant day for her family, where they come together to honor their parents. She recalled how they celebrated Mother’s Day by gathering at her mom’s house and expressed that they would do something similar for Father’s Day.

As the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer has two sisters, Scout and Tallulah, as well as two half-sisters, Mabel and Evelyn. The family made headlines in March 2022 when they announced Bruce’s retirement from acting due to aphasia. Subsequently, in February 2023, they revealed that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Despite his health challenges, Rumer assured that her dad is “doing great” and shared how he has a beautiful connection with her daughter, Louetta. Rumer became a parent last year and expressed how her loved ones adore her daughter, with some even scheduling playdates just to spend time with her.

Rumer also highlighted the special bond between her mom, Demi Moore, and Louetta, describing how her mom spoils her granddaughter with love. The Willis family has come together to support Bruce during his health battle, providing occasional updates on his well-being.

Earlier this year, Demi Moore shared on Good Morning America that Bruce is “doing very well” given the circumstances and emphasized the importance of meeting him where he’s at and finding joy in the present moment. The family’s unity and love for one another shine through as they navigate this challenging time together.
