Úrsula Corberó is also stomping on American soil. After her outstanding role in The Body on Fire, the series that recreates the so-called crime of the Urban Police, the actress is immersed in the promotion of the latest film in which she participates, Lift: a first-class robbery, which will arrive to American theaters this Friday.
His tour of the television sets has left some anecdotes, such as the moment in which Corberó tells how he met Madonna, leaving his co-stars and the presenters of Today, the program on the American channel NBC, speechless.
At one point in the interview, the journalists wanted to investigate the anecdotes that the actress told on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
Corberó explains that everything was a coincidence and that he found Madonna on a plane. “I had to stopover in London and, after going to the bathroom, I met Madonna on the plane,” she says. She recognized him from Tokyo’s role in Money Heist and assured him that she was his fan.
According to his story, Madonna gave him her phone number and invited him to her concert in Barcelona. The complicity between both artists is great, to the point that the actress went on stage at the Palau Sant Jordi to dance to one of the singer’s songs.
Corberó has also explained in Today how Madonna invited him to her concert: “She wrote me a message.” Neither her co-stars nor her presenters have been able to hide her surprise at the anecdote. “What did she write to you?” they asked him.
The actress has not only confirmed that Madonna wrote to invite her to her concert, but also assures that there is a “kind of friendship” between them.
