The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, Jana is determined to prevent Curro from joining the war in Europe, and seeks Salvador’s help to persuade him, reminding him of her own experience in the war in Africa. Meanwhile, Manuel also intervenes in an attempt to dissuade the boy, and during their confrontation, he discovers the true reason behind Curro’s decision: the pain of Martina’s lack of love.
On the other hand, Jana and Manuel have been sincere and intend to fight for their love. Furthermore, the count is willing to do anything to make the jam business go ahead. However, he acknowledges that he has trafficked weapons within La Promesa, as he has confessed to Alfonso.
In the next chapter of The Promise, Jana intends to talk to Salvador so that he can persuade Curro to go fight the war in Europe. Manuel intends to stop him too and find out who put the idea in his head. As for the jam business, Catalina asks Pelayo for the money for the weapons to expand the company.
As for Candela, she has heeded Simona’s request to go to Antoñito’s house. The kitchen assistant gets Norberta to agree to appear at La Promesa to tell the truth. Meanwhile, Cruz tries by all means to get Alonso to disavow Catalina to continue leading everything.
Finally, after several flirtations with Vera by Santos, he discovers that he knows the big secret that the girl has kept since she arrived at the house.
