Ángel Cristo Jr.’s behavior has caused the Survivors organization to have to call the Honduran Armed Forces. Although the incident had been perceived as an attack, the truth is that the contestant has crossed the physical limits of the island and not of coexistence.
Carlos Sobera has started No Man’s Land by warning that the contestant is safe and sound, but he has warned that behavior like this, something that he has defined as “big words”, is not allowed under any circumstances: “Infringing the rules of the program with recklessness of this caliber is going to have serious consequences for him.”
Cristo Jr.’s escape occurred due to a savage verbal confrontation with Aurah and Blanca Manchón, who claimed that he became afraid. The three told each other everything. Bárbara Rey’s son even had sexist comments: “Women only know how to step on men.”
As a result of this great three-way discussion, it was Cristo Jr. who ended up going beyond the permitted limits. The contestant went so far into Cayo Menor that the contest organization could not find him. Something completely normal considering how far the contestant went.
Bárbara Rey’s son did not stay near the safety zone, but rather covered all possible terrain. “You cross the border area of ??Playa Condena to the other end of the island,” Sobera said. This excursion, for which he did not have permission, meant that no one knew where he was for several hours.
Faced with this totally unprecedented situation, the organization of the program had to turn to the Honduran Army to come to the rescue of the contestant. “It is an area full of ravines and wild fauna. This endangers his life and that of the operative who had to participate in his search,” Sobera detailed.
