One of the most important tempters of the seventh edition of Temptation Island has been forced to leave the program after an unexpected decision by the contestants. The instigator was Marieta and the victim, against all odds, was Sergio, the young man with whom she had been unfaithful to Álex.
Marieta seems to have felt used by her tempter. She was open to continuing to get to know Sergio, but he, as he told Sandra Barneda, was convinced that they could not continue moving forward much further: “I don’t feel like continuing to get to know her beyond friendship.” In this scenario, he decided to take “a step aside” so as not to confuse anyone.
The final decision has been overwhelming. None of the other contestants have objected to Marieta’s request. Therefore, the farmer has had to pack his bags ahead of time. “The girls have just decided that your experience on Temptation Island is over. You can leave,” the presenter announced to Sergio, sealing his fate on the program.
The farmer has not caused too many problems. He even wanted to say goodbye to Marieta, who didn’t know too well how to act. Before leaving, Sergio wanted to make his views clear.
The origin of the conflict centers on the stagnation of the relationship between Marieta and Sergio. The contestant had shared her feelings in a moment of introspection by the pool: “My heart has softened and that is why I sent the letter to hell, but what I am very clear about is that if I have had a real connection with Sergio it is because perhaps “I wasn’t in love. Sergio has opened my eyes, I can’t say that I’m holding hands with Sergio because I have to clarify myself.”
Despite not being clear, she did hope that her tempter was on the same line as her. But she got a surprise. Sergio’s response was immediate and was not what she expected. “I have told you twenty times to go alone,” the man from Granada insisted.
The tension between the two increased when Marieta accused Sergio of being a hypocrite, triggering a series of reproaches that showed the impossibility of continuing their relationship outside of the program. In fact, Marieta has exploded: “Don’t tell me that you don’t want to go on a date with me, because it seems hypocritical to me. It’s surreal, is this the comedy club? Why do you have to throw me down? I shit myself motherfucker, all the idiots to me”.
Furthermore, the list of insults that Marieta dedicated to Sergio was not short: “The only scoundrel is you. You are a shitty interested party. Ridiculous. I have more, do you want more? False. Character. Busted.” Given this, Sergio did not remain silent: “Go with Shakira and sing a song together.”
