The premiere of the new edition of El Desafío is just around the corner and three of its contestants have come to El Hormiguero to tell first-hand how they have experienced the tough tests they have faced. Mar Flores, Chenoa and Pepe Navarro have revealed some of their toughest moments in the Antena 3 show.

The one who had the worst time during the recording of the program seems to have been Mar Flores, who has revealed to Pablo Motos a great trauma she has suffered since a water accident with scuba diving and which has led her to refuse to take the apnea test in El Challenge.

As Flores explains, it is all due to a terrifying incident that she experienced firsthand: “I do scuba diving and I had a super bad experience in the water,” the actress began by explaining, who at first refused to take the famous apnea test.

“Once while I was passing through a cave my respirator got caught and I lost it, all the air started coming out and it made me very nervous. “I ran out of air,” Flores revealed to Pablo Motos, stating that this episode generated “a brutal trauma.”

For this reason, in the tests Mar could not last even a second underwater once he felt like he was short of air, because he claims that he cannot bear the “contraction in the water” that is felt when he begins to notice the lack of oxygen.

This is the reason why Mar Flores confessed to Jorge Salvador that she would not be part of one of the most popular tests of El Desafío due to her fear, something that will be seen soon at the premiere of the new edition of the program.
