The last hours of Alejandro Sanz are not being the easiest to carry. The Madrid singer set off the alarms of his followers at dawn last Saturday, after publishing a message in which he expressed difficulties with his mental health. Since then, millions of fans and personalities from the world of music have offered their support to the Spanish artist. The last to send a message of encouragement was an old acquaintance of his: Manuel Carrasco.
The man from Isla Cristina has reappeared in front of the media to present his latest tour, Corazón y flecha, which will start on June 2 at the Estadio de la Cartuja in Seville and which will take him more than 30 dates until mid-October. During the pertinent press conference, Carrasco was asked about the message published by Sanz over the weekend, with the singer responding that his workmate will come out of this.
The artist wanted to highlight Alejandro Sanz’s right to feel bad when his body and mind cannot, like any other human being. “He has the right to be bad like everyone else, he happens to all of us. Sometimes it seems that the people who go on stage, who have the responsibility of being an example for many people, even if they don’t look for it, it is â€, were his words, being very cautious at all times.
Carrasco also pointed out the special sensitivity of all those artists who go on stage, just before confessing that he has maintained contact with the singer after what happened on Saturday. “And well yes, yes I have sent him my love and I have crossed a message with him and simply that we are with him for whatever he needs. And I am sure that he will get ahead right now, because he is a great guy and he has always shown it, â€he explained.
The Andalusian singer-songwriter added that he has also gone through bumps like this, stressing that the best thing to do in situations like this is to take good care of yourself and focus on the task at hand. “If you want to give the best to people you have to be well, and you suffer a lot when that is not well inside.” A reflection that is reflected in the state of Alejandro Sanz, who stated that he did not feel well on a mental level in his message.
Since that publication, many have been attentive to the evolution that the Madrid native may present regarding his comments. One of the voices that spoke yesterday was that of his ex-wife, Raquel Parera, who assured that Sanz was fine: “I think it was a very sincere statement from someone who at a given moment feels sad and tired And I think it has happened to all of us. I also think that he is very brave and very generous and very useful and he is going to help a lot of peopleâ€.
