‘Love Island USA’: Maura Higgins to Host ‘Love Island Aftersun’ Weekly Chat Series
EXCLUSIVE: Love Island UK fan favorite Maura Higgins has been announced as the host of the new weekly chat series Love Island Aftersun on Peacock. The talk show will accompany Love Island USA Season 6, with Higgins interviewing eliminated Islanders about their villa experiences and sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
Higgins rose to fame in Love Island UK’s Season 5 as a bombshell contestant, making it to the final and finishing in fourth place. She is no stranger to the Love Island family, having hosted social media content during Season 5 and served as the social host for Love Island Games in 2023. Additionally, she guest-hosted three episodes.
Love Island Aftersun is set to debut on Peacock on June 15, coinciding with the premiere of Love Island USA Season 6. The upcoming season will be hosted by Ariana Madix, with new episodes airing daily at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT during premiere week and subsequently on Thursdays through Tuesdays.
Season 6 will take place in Fiji and feature a revamped villa, including Casa Amor and the Hideaway. Viewers can expect heightened drama with shocking revelations, new couple challenges, and surprise guest appearances. Audience participation will be key, as viewers can vote for their favorite couples via the Love Island USA app to influence who stays and who leaves the villa.
