Survivors 2024 has caused a lifelong friendship to be broken, apparently forever. Makoke has decided that she does not want to know anything more about Lorena Morlote, her trusted hairdresser, after the contestant allied herself with Laura Matamoros, one of the television collaborator’s great enemies.
The final expulsion of Morlote has led to the meeting between her and Makoke, still very upset at having heard the criticism of what she believed to be her soul friend. Despite this, the stylist pointed out before intervening in No Man’s Land that she did not believe that Makoke was angry: “From what I have known her for many years, I do not think it has made her feel bad. Quite the opposite.”
Makoke preferred to wait for her friend sitting down and the expelled woman entered, covering her face so as not to exchange any glances with the girl from Malaga. “Can I give you a kiss? Although we’ll still kill each other,” Morlote finally said. “I’m angry,” Makoke justified.
The hairdresser, after seeing everything her former friend has said in her absence, has had a conciliatory attitude. “Nothing happens, if that’s your opinion, I respect it,” said the expelled woman. Furthermore, she has noted that there have been “many moments” in which she has defended Makoke. The woman from Malaga has not been satisfied: “It has not been seen at any time. I have seen that you were laughing at the Makoke in the street and that you were going to veto me if you set up a hair salon.”
Faced with this, Morlote has had no choice but to lower his ears: “I can understand it. I would also have to see what I have defended not only in the program, but with other series of things. You know perfectly well what I am.” . Finally, there has been no understanding. “That’s it. Life is like that. If you have that opinion, I respect it,” said Morlote, words that Makoke has summarized in that she is “a good guy.”
The war between Makoke and Lorena Morlote has originated in Honduras. The hairdresser became good friends with Laura Matamoros, with whom she spoke at length about Makoke and they even joked about setting up a business and vetoing her entry. These trusts undermined the relationship between the two friends.
Things were already looking bad from the beginning. Kiko Matamoros’ daughter entered the contest jumping from the helicopter shouting “Makoke to the street!” something that didn’t sit well with her former stepmother. As the days passed, Matamoros and Morlote got to know each other, overcame their initial prejudices and began to understand each other. The hairdresser, against all odds, took the side of her island companion, leaving her friend frozen.
Seeing this change in attitude, Makoke decided that she no longer wanted to know anything more about her friend because she had felt very betrayed: “My relationship is not going to be the same.” Although they have now met again, the first contact has not been good.
