The Sevillian comedian Manu Sánchez, who began his television career on Canal Sur and La Sexta, announced a few months ago one of the hardest news of his life: he has testicular cancer. The comedian wanted to confess it on the program La tarde, aquí y ahora, by Juan y Medio, because of the affection he has for the presenter.

“Now it’s also time to stop a little bit; they’re going to see that for a while I won’t be able to look out at Tierra de talento as I would like,” he said, justifying his absence from the talent show he presents. However, it seems that everything is progressing favorably and she wanted to share it with his followers.

Manu Sánchez has gone to his Instagram account to announce something that he had been waiting for a long time: “END OF THE CHEMIO. TODAY IS A GREAT DAY”. This he has done together with a video waving “the bell of dreams”, one in which he explicitly says: “Ring me and share with everyone your joy at the good news.”

And it is that, although he has not yet gotten rid of the cancer that haunts him, he can be calmer: “The road is hard, very hard… but it is worth it.” “A new beginning has arrived. We are getting it. Thanks to those of you who do not let go of me,” he continued.

Of course, in that same program he also wanted to tell about the harsh situation he experienced the day he heard the news. “We still didn’t know where, when, how much, or how she was coming. I ran to the Hospital and after swallowing the news without chewing, I decided several things, ”he assured. Among them were: return to the theater, and not tell anyone anything until “we did not reveal what we were facing and how it came”.

In addition, he wanted to explain what he felt just at the moment he found out about cancer. “On April 19 in that Talent parking lot I was cold, very, very cold. Cold, I have never been colder in my life. Outside the sun was shining, but I was cold. Very, very cold,” confessed the comedian.

But if he has been able to carry out the process better, it has been thanks to the birth of his daughter Leonor, who came into the world two days after the diagnosis. “I was daddy again. I don’t know if it has happened to many people to see death and life (in that order) from so close and so closely. […] It was clear to me that I could not steal Leonor’s joy from her, “he admitted in La tarde, aquí y ahora.
