Kiko Rivera seems to have a favorite chirigota this year at the Cádiz Carnival: El Niño de la Isabelita 2, for which he has served as inspiration. And Isabel Pantoja’s son wanted to publicly demonstrate his support for this northern group, supporting them this Monday at the Gran Teatro Falla.
The producer, who has already defended the chirigota since the preliminaries, has unexpectedly entered the second semi-final session of the Official Cádiz Carnival Group Contest (COAC) 2024.
Rivera has even participated in a cameo, appearing on stage as soon as the curtains opened at the Gran Teatro Falla, packed to the brim.
The DJ has distanced himself from any controversy regarding the lyrics of the chirigota. He knows that these are times of humor and jokes. “Anyone who gets angry about the carnival is stupid,” he shouted before the presentation, according to the local newspaper La Voz de Cádiz.
Isabel Pantoja’s son has been equally close without the spotlight. According to this medium, Rivera has explained that he has been a fan of the Cádiz Carnival since he was little and that no one can be bothered by serving as inspiration for the quartets’ lyrics.
Furthermore, with this chirigota it has been different. Unlike other years, the group Antoñito Molina called him a few months ago to present the idea to him. And he gave her his blessing. Hence, the product has publicly demonstrated its support on several occasions through its social networks.
