In the television world, exchanges of statements between presenters always generate expectation and, on this occasion, it is no different. Jorge Javier Vázquez, emblematic face of Telecinco, has responded to the recent statements of Pablo Motos, director and presenter of El Hormiguero on Antena 3, who expressed that he does not consider Catalan as a suitable profile to be interviewed on his program.

The controversy arose during a publicity event attended by Motos along with well-known television personalities. When asked about the possibility of interviewing Vázquez, Motos responded to El Televisero: “In principle I don’t think it’s a profile for me to interview, but I don’t rule it out either.” These words did not go unnoticed by the Catalan, who shared his perplexity through his blog in Lecturas.

“Honestly, Pablo: I did not understand your answer. You wasted the opportunity to have a guest at your level,” said Jorge Javier Vázquez in his publication. Furthermore, the presenter took the opportunity to highlight that he currently prefers to maintain a low profile after his temporary absence from television, avoiding any unnecessary controversy.

Of course, in his column he could not resist sharing his impressions on various television topics, such as the Benidorm Fest 2024 and the Spanish representatives in Eurovision.

He also shared his reflections on his recent appearance in the series Every Man for Himself, broadcast on Netflix. The return of his Sálvame colleagues on the program, this time from Mexico, took him by surprise and immersed him in a whirlwind of emotions, remembering his intense days on the Telecinco program.

The statements of Jorge Javier Vázquez and Pablo Motos have added a new chapter to the long history of interactions between the most prominent presenters on Spanish television, keeping the audience expectant about any possible future development in this media relationship. The big unknown is whether both presenters will soon see each other on the Antena 3 program.
