The Antena 3 program Y Ahora, Sonsoles collects different cases and testimonies every day from people who deal with all kinds of problems in their lives. From cases of fraud, illnesses, public complaints, etc. Taking into account the great visibility work that the program does, a group of neighbors decided to speak to the space to publicly denounce that they live with a woman who threatens them daily.
Sonsoles Ónega contacted live with some of the neighbors who suffer from the abusive attitudes of the woman (named María Jesús) and was shocked to hear her statements. ”She has even threatened to cut my throat,” explained one of the visibly affected victims.
In an attempt to bring positions closer together and try to understand the woman who supposedly makes these types of threats to the people who live near her, Ónega’s team went to her home and asked her about the situation.
Arancha Pérez Ponce, a reporter from the program who was trying to start a conversation with the woman, quickly realized that she was facing an impossible mission, since she only opened the door to try to attack her with a broom. This happened when the journalist offered him a proposal from the landing: “I’ll be downstairs if you want to at least talk to me.”
”Look, you guys get out of here or…! Out! Get out, bitch! Get out! “Exclaimed the woman, visibly angry, trying to hit the reporter who was doing her job in the best possible way.
Once the images were broadcast, Sonsoles Ónega connected with the program worker, who explained how the situation was: “The window has just closed, but you can see everyone. The scandal has been monumental, one of the children has just left of this lady María Jesús, shouting and threatening (…) The truth is that they have been moments of very, very much tension.”
According to one of the neighbors present, María Jesús displays these types of violent attitudes every day and even throws ammonia, sewage, etc. out the window. Additionally, she shared with the audience that more than once she had shown up at his house with a knife or “a goat’s leg.”
After expressing that they have gone to social services and that the woman refuses to receive help, the journalist confessed that the family is not helping the situation improve either: ”One of this lady’s children has directly confronted one of the neighbors.
