Last October, the singer Nuria Fergó announced her engagement to the Argentine businessman Juan Pablo Lauro. With a post on Instagram, the former Operación Triunfo contestant confirmed the wedding bells.
It is not Lauro’s first marriage. He had already been married to the journalist Irene Villa, with whom he had three children: Carlos, Gael and Eric. They divorced in 2018 due to, according to Irene herself in an interview with HOLA magazine, estrangement due to work reasons.
When the wedding between the two was announced, the Argentine’s ex-wife said that she would have no problems attending the wedding. However, Nuria Fergó confirmed that her ex and her future husband “are not part of my family.”
Irene Villa reacted to these statements, wanting to make light of the matter: “I think there is no problem, everything is fine. She will also be a little tired of being asked, maybe, I don’t know,” she declared at an event to Europa Press.
Villa went to a concert at the Teatro Kapital in Madrid and it was there that she spoke to the press about the words of her ex-husband’s future wife: “So much sincerity doesn’t bother me either. I only know that we are each happy with the partner she has chosen and that is what we have to stay with. “Everyone has their life,” the journalist concluded.
