In the midst of the mourning that surrounds Huétor Tájar (Granada) after the tragic event that cost the lives of two children at the hands of their grandfather, the cremation of the alleged perpetrator took place in the Loja funeral home. However, so far and according to ‘TardeAR’, no relative or close friend has claimed Grandpa Pepe’s remains.

In the midst of pain and dismay, the community of Huétor Tájar prepares to say goodbye to the two little victims of this tragedy. The judge in charge of the investigation has authorized the burial of the minors, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, after the improvement in the father’s health, who remains hospitalized and under sedation.

The children’s father, who lost his mother to illness, his wife and mother-in-law in a traffic accident, and now his two children in the span of just two months, remains in a reserved state. The authorities maintain secrecy about the results of the minors’ autopsies, while the community unites in mourning and solidarity with the affected family.

The cremation of the grandfather marks another step in the complex plot of this regrettable episode of vicarious violence. Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the details of the double homicide of the children, ages 10 and 12, whose bodies were found dead in the family home.

According to preliminary reports from the authorities, the children tragically lost their lives, one from a shot in the back and the other from asphyxiation. Now, the final autopsy report and toxicological analysis are awaited to shed more light on this painful tragedy.
