The third day of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival was marked by the presentation of Francis Ford Coppola’s new film, Megalopolis. A premiere that actresses like Hande Erçel, the Turkish actress who rose to fame with the series Love is in the air, and Cristina Castaño, who debuted on the red carpet with an impactful look, did not want to miss.

Hande Erçel caused a sensation with a beautiful red dress from Balmain’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection. The model also triumphed with a dress with a sweetheart neckline that fitted up to the abdomen and gave way to a skirt with a lot of volume at the hips and with a front opening.

Cristina Castaño, who made her debut on the Croisette red carpet, appeared radiant in a black dress by Nicolás Montenegro, with a flattering halter neck embroidered with rhinestones and a suggestive low back. In addition, the design had a three-meter train made of silk. The Spanish actress completed her look with black Christian Louboutin shoes and Messika jewelry.

Aubrey Plaza dazzled in a champagne-colored dress with a striking braided relief that wrapped around her hips to give way to a pleated skirt. She nailed it with her turquoise stone earrings and choker.

Greta Gerwig, who is the president of the jury for this edition of the film festival, once again used sequins with a custom Chanel look, with a straight dress with side pockets and a mini cape that she combined with a star necklace.

Caroline Daur opted for a black dress by Yara Shoemaker, made of tulle, a voluminous skirt and original cut outs with jewel straps.

Carole Bouquet chose a sober design from Chanel’s fall 2019 Haute Couture collection. The French actress opted for a long-sleeved dress with a flared skirt that added volume to this sophisticated proposal.

Yseult brought Christian Dior’s iconic New Look silhouette to the red carpet with a total Haute Couture look from the French house. The singer did not go unnoticed with an outfit consisting of a white jacket with a lapel collar and peplum hem and a long pleated skirt. She paired it with a hat and fur gloves.

Teyana Taylor paid tribute to the recently deceased Roberto Cavalli with one of her printed designs. The American singer appeared on the red carpet in a very wild jumpsuit, with a shirt collar, a dizzying opening in the neckline to the navel and wide-leg pants.
