Haute couture looks continue to be one of the main stars of the Cannes Film Festival. A few days ago, the model Irina Shayk surprised everyone with a dress marked by transparencies. In the last few hours, the focus has shifted to Elsa Hosk, who has gone viral with a design that generates an optical illusion.
The dress in question is part of Viktor’s Spring 2023 Couture
“When I saw this dress walking down the runway, I was struck by how, twisting and moving, the dress seemed so surreal and beautiful, and even ugly at times, and it not only took my breath away, but also reminded me that there is no to take fashion too seriously,” the model wrote in an Instagram post.
To complement this curious outfit, the model has opted for makeup in which her eyes have stood out, favored with shadows in blue tones. On her lips, Hosk has opted for a pink tone that added volume to her mouth.
“I knew it had to be this dress. It was like a deconstructed rock and roll version of the first dress I wore to Cannes and I just loved it,” the Swede said.
Curiously, this dress that has caused a sensation was about to not be seen in Cannes. The garment had to be flown directly from Los Angeles at the last minute because the model’s suitcase had gone missing.
