Gloria Camila, daughter of the iconic Rocío Jurado and the bullfighter José Ortega Cano, has taken a big step in her professional career with the launch of her own clothing brand, Bakkus, an event that has strategically coincided with her birthday.
The influencer shared her excitement and gratitude through social networks for having managed to enter the world of fashion: “Bakkus has finally come out, we have finally given birth, as they told me on Saturday. And, how wonderful it is to fulfill dreams and surrounded by your loved ones, seeing that they are happy if you are happy.”
Gloria Camila spoke with La Razón about this new project, which is the result of two years of work and is conceived as part of her Master’s Thesis (TFM) in Digital Marketing: “It is going to be clothing and we are going to take the spring-summer collection and it is something that makes me very excited.
However, despite Gloria Camila’s excitement over the launch of Bakkus, the brand has faced numerous criticisms on social media for the high price of its garments. Thus, pieces such as the Cibeles shirt, valued at 239 euros, or the Niza vest, 319 euros, have raised blisters because they are not accessible to practically any pocket.
In view of the prices that the influencer has decided to put on her clothes, the networks have been relentless with her: “This one has completely gone overboard. The same person has regretted that the sum of the two pieces of the set Cibeles exceeds half a thousand euros: “600 euros for pajamas.”
But prices are not the only thing that has raised dust. Users have also highlighted that the photos that Gloria Camila has taken are not flattering at all, since the clothes are not ironed and give a bad image, and that on other portals there are very similar clothes at much more affordable prices.
