Bertín Osborne visited ‘El Hormiguero’ and sat down with Pablo Motos to present his next album and remember special moments from his career. Between laughter and complicity, the artist revealed a fascinating anecdote about his relationship with Frank Sinatra.

Osborne shared that the legendary singer invited him to spend a weekend at his house in Palm Beach (Miami) after collaborating on an English-language album with his son-in-law, ex-partner of his daughter Nancy.

“I sat in the front row and I almost died because Frank Sinatra is my favorite singer,” Bertín confessed. The evening with Sinatra was marked by music, as the iconic ‘My Way’ singer not only enjoyed several whiskeys and a pack of tobacco, but also dared to sing.

“After singing, he invited us to spend a weekend at his house in Palm Beach and I accepted because I thought: ‘It must be girly…’, but oh well!” he confessed. “I’m going to spend the weekend and it was all guys. Six or seven guys,” added Bertín, disappointed.

In any case, Bertín Osborne assured that it was a “beautiful weekend”, although he spent it under the umbrella since he decided not to sunbathe. “We talk about politics, religion and… women,” he added mischievously. “He was also a fan. He married many times,” Osborne specified.

Bertín’s “women’s buff” comment, although delivered with humor, reflects insight into Sinatra’s complex personal life, which was marked by tumultuous marriages and controversies. Osborne, remembering her idyllic weekend with Frank Sinatra, couldn’t help but point out the remarkable similarity in their love interests.
